Native American-Style Flutes are simple and intuitive instruments used for connecting deeply to the self and spirit. They are widely used for a variety of reasons including self-expression, during prayer and mindfulness practices and for personal growth. 

Native Style flutes make a great addition to all healing modalities including massage, Reiki, energy work, reflexology, and ✨️sound healing️. ✨

During this class you will: 

~Get familiar with your flute 

~Learn how to hold your flute & catch bad playing habits 

~Play the pentatonic scale 

~Learn techniques like ‘tonguing’ and ‘jumping notes’ and more! 

~Learn practice techniques 

~Create your very own melodies 

~Journey to connect with your flute 

~Exchange flute energy with the intention of healing 

~Experience playing in/with/for nature (weather permitting) 

~1×1 time and ongoing support 

Bring your own Native American Style Flute, or borrow one. If you don’t have a flute and would like to join us, Heather will have some flutes to borrow for the class (and purchase if you love it!).

About your Instructor, Heather:

Heather's world was nudged open nearly 15 years ago when she discovered Reiki through a private practice massage therapist. Profound experiences led her down a path of self-discovery, but it wasn't until her father passed away in 2017 that her world began to palpably shift. It was during this time of untangling that sound became the forefront of focus, leading Heather to peace, joy and vocal freedom. Her path always leads her back to quiet places within, lapping up moments of stillness that bring balance and serve as a reminder of our innate, authentic being.

Heather is a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, a Usui Reiki Master, Native American-style flute teacher, Medicine Drum Birthing Facilitator and Andean Shaman Practitioner.

Heather looks forward to sharing heart-felt experiences that have transformed the way she moves and interacts with the world around her.
