Ahhhh, Sundays. The seventh day. The day to rest. The day to connect with God (Spirit/Source/Creator).

This is Inner Nature's morning church: Nature Church. Communion out in nature, surrounded by the sycamores and the sounds of the flowing run..ancient rocks who tell stories if you get quiet enough to listen. and speaking of quiet enough, in that listening stillness you may be gifted with sightings of heron, bald eagle, scarlet tanagers, hummingbirds and more. And once you've listened long enough, maybe you wish to sing to the rivers, or immerse in the water with your community, or make music together upon the stones.

Nature Church is a simple Sunday morning free gathering for communion and connection at Morgan Run.

For you. For your family. Connection. Connecting with the Divine, with Nature, with yourself, with your family, with community.

At 8:15am, you're welcome to join Geoffrey for a water immersion. Summer months the water is just cool and refreshing. All others months, it's a cold plunge.

Lately we've been taking a moment to read the daily wisdom from "The Book of Awakening" by Mark Nepo.

Nothing is led. There is no sermon, unless you count what the trees may teach you.

Come a little early for private, quiet time. Or at any point, find yourself a little private nook to engage in a personal meditation, prayer, or other morning practice. Flow in and out with community connection as you wish.

Stay as long as you like or are able. Bring whatever you need to be comfortable, to engage in your practices. This is totally family friendly - kids love this area!

What you may wish to bring:

• water

• a warm beverage

• bathing suit, towel & water shoes

• sunscreen and/or bug spray (the sun doesn't start to shine on the river until about 9am)

• musical instrument(s)

• blanket or outdoor transportable seating

• anything you desire for a morning practice (journal, yoga mat, book, etc)

Timing:

Sunday mornings

Community meets at the Fishing Platform or sometimes a rock or two up river at 8am

Arrive a little earlier for your own time. No worries if you are not here at 8am exactly. Group Water immersion occurs at about 8:05-8:15am.

Stay as long as you like. That could be a half hour or three hours. Whatever you need to start your day in nature.
